Hole 1
PAR: 4 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 3 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 1
Hole Description:
The par 4 first hole is a dog leg left with a lake on the left hand side of the fairway. There is a creek before the green that needs to be carried on the approach shot, and the green has two bunkers on the front left and right sides of the green. Finally, the green itself has a few undulations that make it quite tricky.
Hole 2
PAR: 5 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 17 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 5
Hole Description:
From the tee box, the par 5 second presents a slight uphill shot with trouble on either side of the fairway. The ravine sitting before the green forces golfers to make a decision to be aggressive and go for the green or to play it safe and lay up. The green is flanked by greenside bunkers on both sides, and has a multi-tiered design to add another challenge.
Hole 3
PAR: 4 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 9 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 11
Hole Description:
Running parallel to the second hole, the par 4 third starts off fairly narrow off the tee box. There is a ravine along the left hand side and out of bounds along the right side, so golfers must be wary of this shot. Following the tee shot is an uphill approach shot onto a two-tiered green where it is imperative to stay short of the hole.
Hole 4
PAR: 4 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 3 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 1
Hole Description:
Our signature hole, the par 3 fourth begins with a shot over the same lake from hole one. Since the tee box is positioned on a hill, this hole offers amazing views of the front nine and the clubhouse. However, for any golfer looking to take the easy out and hit the ball right to avoid the lake, be aware of the two greenside bunkers positioned along the right edge of the green.
Hole 5
PAR: 4 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 1 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 4
Hole Description:
The par 4 fifth hole starts off with a massive uphill drive from the tee box. Although the fairway is fairly wide, there is a tree line on the right and a fairway bunker on the left that force golfers to hit a good shot off the tee. Following the tee shot, there is a blind approach shot onto a well protected green with bunkers on either side.
Hole 6
PAR: 4 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 5 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 7
Hole Description:
The par 4 sixth is positioned on a hill, with the peak located roughly halfway between the tee box and the green. This makes for an uphill tee shot and a downhill approach shot, but be sure to get past the hill’s peak or face a blind shot. The green has a slight front to back slope with greenside bunkers on both the left and right, so staying under the pin is very important for this green.
Hole 7
PAR: 3 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 11 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 17
Hole Description:
The second par 3 Canyon Crest has to offer, hole seven is deceptively long and narrow, with three bunkers surrounding the green on both sides. There are two circular bunkers on the right hand side of the green, and an elongated bunker on the left.
Hole 8
PAR: 4/5 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 13 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 3
Hole Description:
Hole eight offers a unique par 5/4 split between the men and women’s tees. For the men, this par 5 starts off very narrow with a steep drop off to the right hand side. The safest option on this hole is to stay left since the right side of the fairway is very difficult to play from. For the women, hole 8 is a par 4 that is much more forgiving, however it is still best to avoid going right. The green is slightly elevated and protected by four bunkers that make for a difficult approach shot.
Hole 9
PAR: 4 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 17 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 3
Hole Description:
Similar to hole eight, hole nine also has a par 5/4 split, but mirrored. For the men, this par 4 offers a risk/reward option from the tee. Golfers can either choose to lay up before the creek or attempt to carry the creek for an easier approach shot. For the women, hole nine plays as a par 5 with a very open tee shot and wide fairway. The green has a two-tiered design that makes it a little tricky.
Hole 10
PAR: 4 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 4 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 2
Hole Description:
The par 4 tenth hole starts with an intimidating and narrow tee shot with out of bounds on the left and a treeline on the right. The left side of the fairway has the best angle to approach the green from, so hitting the left side of the fairway is favorable. There are two large greenside bunkers on either side of the green, so hitting an accurate approach shot is key.
Hole 11
PAR: 3 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 18 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 18
Hole Description:
Hole eleven is a par 3 that starts with a ravine that must be carried from the tee box. The green is medium sized with four greenside bunkers surrounding it on the left, back, and right sides.
Hole 12
PAR: 4 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 2 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 16
Hole Description:
The par 4 twelfth is a very tough hole due to both a tough tee shot and a tough approach shot. Off the tee, there are three creeks and an out of bounds area that create a square shaped section of the fairway that golfers must land their shot within. From the fairway, the approach shot is up a steep hill and onto a large green with bunkers on the front right and back left edges.
Hole 13
PAR: 4/5 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 8 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 4
Hole Description:
Hole thirteen is a par 5 dog leg right with a single bunker on the left side of the fairway. This hole is a reachable par 5 for some, but most golfers will be going for the green on their third shot. There are two challenging bunkers short of the green that encourage golfers to lay up.
Hole 14
PAR: 4 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 8 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 4
Hole Description:
From the tee, the par 4 fourteenth hole is a downhill dog leg left that has two fairway bunkers on either side. This hole has a gentle slope from right to left and a bunker that stretches across the front of the green. This bunker makes the right hand side of the fairway the best angle to approach the green from.
Hole 15
PAR: 4 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 10 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 8
Hole Description:
The par 4 fifteenth begins with a slightly uphill tee shot onto a wide fairway. There are two bunkers on either side of the fairway to avoid, and an uphill approach shot. The green is protected by three bunkers, one to the front right and two on the left.
Hole 16
PAR: 3 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 6 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 14
Hole Description:
The final par 3, hole sixteen slopes uphill and has two challenging bunkers on either side of the green. Make sure you hit your tee shot to the center of the green as the false front will make for a tough chip.
Hole 17
PAR: 4 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 12 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 12
Hole Description:
The par 4 seventeenth starts out with a huge downhill tee shot that makes this hole play shorter than the listed yardage. The hole has a slight bend to the left, and two bunkers on the front right and front left of the green.
Hole 18
PAR: 5 | MEN’S HANDICAP: 16 | LADIES’ HANDICAP: 10
Hole Description:
Finishing off with a par 5, the eighteenth tee shot is into a spacious fairway with three fairway bunkers scattered on the left and right sides. The fairway is lined with trees on both sides, so going far right or left could result in some trouble. The green has two bunkers, one on the front left and another on the back right.
